Btootos A90 Pro Earbuds
Sound
Punchy bass output.
The built-in microphone performs adequately well on calls.
Overall, the sound is powerful, and it can be difficult to notice a major difference compared with some premium earbuds, including those from Apple.
Battery
Adequate battery life of around 6 to 8 hours per charge.
The charging case provides a total of 30 to 40 hours, with a digital battery display included.
After roughly 4 to 6 months, a noticeable drop in battery performance may occur.
Noise Cancelling
The Btootos A90 Pro uses Environmental Noise Cancelling (ENC).
This means external noise is primarily reduced by the seal of the silicone ear tips.
While modern preference tends towards Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), which uses opposing sound waves to suppress background noise, the gap between a premium ANC system and Btootos’ ENC is not as dramatic as some might expect.
During calls, the microphones help reduce external noise for clearer voice transmission.
Usability
The Btootos A90 Pro earbuds are not the most intuitive to use, and Bluetooth range can occasionally be limited.
At times, one earbud may stop working; this is usually resolved by placing both earbuds in the case and leaving the lid open for around 15 seconds.
Aesthetics
The Btootos A90 Pro earbuds do not resemble a premium product.
They look exactly what they are, a budget device.
Verdict
Battery life concerns may appear after around six months of use.
Sound quality is impressive and competitive with more premium brands.
Usability can be awkward at times.
Design is not particularly attractive.
At the time of writing, they are listed on Amazon at £19.99.
In terms of value for money, they are an excellent budget option.
